American artist Maggie Jo Dignan received her BFA from the University of Missouri in 2010. While attending the University, she studied drawing and illustration, developing strong skills with ink and watercolor, which have led her to win several local awards. Her images typically consist of illusions, mythology, and dark subject matter, which address such themes as psychosis, humanity and the supernatural.
